Weather: Generally heavily cloudy conditions with periods of light to moderate showers that can lead to local flooding. The wind remains mostly pretty strong.
The expected maximum temperature will be 29oC and the minimum temperature will be 25oC.
Sunrise is 6:42 am and sunset is 6:46 pm.
Wind: Eastly and moderate to quite strong; wind force 4 to 5 (19 to 39 km/h, 11 to 21 knots). Occasional shooters from quite strong to powerful; wind power 6 to 7 (40 to 61 km/h, 22 to 33 knots).
Weather overview: A trough stretching from the southeast to the northwestern part of the ABC Islands is producing humid air combined with some instability. This disturbance is promoting significant cloud development in the region and causing periods of local to scattered showers over our island. Precipitation intensity varies from light to moderate, and an isolated thunderstorm cannot be ruled out, which can lead to flooding locally. At the same time, the Atlantic high pressure area provides a tight air pressure gradient, resulting in moderate to strong easterly winds. These winds continue to cause wind-generated waves, which keeps the sea around our island quite rough.
Sea conditions: Fairly calm to quite rough with wave heights between 1.5 and 2.5 meters (4 to 8 feet). The highest waves are expected along all coastal areas, where the sea remains rough. Therefore, a precautionary notice for rough seas (Code Yellow) is in force. Small vessels are advised to navigate with necessary caution. Swimmers are advised to be careful and not to go far from the shore.
